Why Cast Acrylic?

Cast Acrylic is a high quality acrylic that offers clarity, high resistance when exposed to solvents, and thermal stability. Cast Acrylic, unlike extruded acrylic, is thermo-formable and can be reworked hot. Cast Acrylic can have a less consistent sheet thickness with up to a +/-10% variation possible across the sheet due to the harder surface layers.

At Forged Acrylics we choose to offer Cast Acrylic for its superior surface finish, flatness and optical properties when compared to Extruded Acrylic sheets.

Cast Acrylic sheets are covered with protective paper on both sides.
